“Commit your work to the LORD, and your planning will succeed.” Proverbs 16:3

As Christ followers, God asks us to be people of worship! When we commit our lives to Jesus, we commit to a lifestyle of worship. Praising God isn’t optional for the believer – it is a joyful requirement!

Worship is so much more than singing in a church service or listening to a sermon. Worship is life – it is everything! God asks us to be worshipful in our thoughts and actions. Going to work may be worship, staying at home with children may be worship, serving your neighbor may be worship. The Lord asks that we give God praise in all that we do!

I encourage you to not think of worship as something to check off of your weekend to-do list. Rather, consider asking the Lord how you might make ALL of your work, play, rest worshipful to God.
