Every human that has ever lived is born into sin. We are all separated from the love of God by our sin. But, God provided the most suitable sacrifice for our sin. He gave us the righteous of Christ, and adopts us into his family. Through this sacrifice, he has made a way for an eternal future with him!
Why did God do all of that? It certainly isn’t because of anything that we did. It is simply because he loves us. We were lost before Christ. We had no hope.
Ephesians 1:7 says, “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of his grace.”
If being saved from an eternity apart from God isn’t reason to worship, I don’t know what is!
